There are many beaches on Koh Samui to choose from. Choeng Mon with its wide sandy beach in a sheltered bay is 5 minutes from Samujana. A few minutes further, the island’s largest beach is at Chaweng with its sweeping views, white sand and turquoise sea.
Koh Samui is home to many Buddhist temples and Chinese shrines. Big Buddha temple is one of the most impressive religious landmarks in Samui. A giant 12-metre high gold-painted Buddha statue that was built in 1972 located on the northeastern coast. Also a few minutes’ drive from Samujana is Plai Laem temple which features a striking white 18-arm statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion.
There are many dining options on Samui, from street food to local beach side restaurants cafes through to the more sophisticated International cuisine offered all over the island.
Koh Samui has one of Asia’s most challenging and beautiful golf courses, the 18 hole championship Santiburi Country Club. Located on the steep hilly slopes to the North of Maenam beach, it is located 30 minutes drive from Samujana.
Koh Samui is part of the 600 island strong Chumphon Archipelago that also includes Ang Thong Marine Park. Koh Tao and the internationally renowned dive site of Sail Rock offer a varied and world class diving experience. There are many other smaller sites that can be explored.

There are plenty of shopping options on Samui, from the local markets and walking streets of Fishermen’s Village through to the more sophisticated shopping at Central Chaweng and along the strips at Chaweng beach and Lamai.
